Adventures

Way more than a Tuesday night.

Troop 183 scouts camp, hike, paddle, shoot at the range, and ride ATVs at summer camp. They also give back close to home, with service projects and the Davie parade.

Campouts

Patrols plan the menu, pitch the tents, and cook over the fire. New scouts learn the skills from scouts a few years older.

Summer camp

A week away every summer since 2001, from central Florida to the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina. Swimming, merit badges, and at most camps, the rifle range and ATVs.

Service

Planting gardens, clearing brush, and marching in the Davie parade. Every Eagle Scout leads a service project for the community.

Scouts in uniform carry the Troop 183 banner along a street in Davie.

We never put scouts' names with their photos. Trip dates and places are shared with families in Scoutbook.

Come to a Tuesday meeting at 7:00 PM and meet the scouts who plan these trips.
